Steven Jackley – judge

Steven K. Jackley has been a fan of horror films since he was first introduced to the genre at five years old, exploring the depths of horror from Wes Craven’s Nightmare on Elm Street to John Carpenter’s sci-fi horror The Thing, to David Fincher’s thriller, Seven. He began his filmmaking journey after moving to Portland, Oregon in 2015. He has entered many scripts and short films into festivals across the country, including the Portland Horror Film Festival and the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival. Judging for these festivals has been inspiring and educational, as he pushes forward to create more short films and his first feature film.
